Visual Motor Integration
-refers to the ability to coordinate motor movement with what the brain sees. An example of this is copying letters or numbers from the board or paper.
Activities you can do with your child to promote visual motor intgration skills are:
-writing numbers, letters, shapes with a highlighter and having them trace over them. You can use a yellow highlighter and have your child change the color with another colored marker.
-dot to dot pictures, etch a sketch and magna doodle are activities and games that promote visual motor control.
