Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Dunkirk City School District, through mutual cooperation and shared responsibility with the entire community, is to empower all students to clearly perceive their goals while developing their skills, knowledge and values to become life-long learners and independent, productive citizens in a multi-cultural world.

  •  Dunkirk School District's character trait for the month of May is Fairness. Please think about this trait as exam season approaches!

 

  • The Dunkirk City School District will offer a two week summer enrichment program to help children with academic preparedness. The program is designed to provide academic stimulation over the long summer months and prepare students for a successful start and continued academic achievement in the upcoming school year. Please fill out an application if you plan on having your child participate (applications will be made available the week on May 13th ) . The program begins Monday, August 5th and ends Friday, August 16th . If you need further information, call the main office at 366-9300 ext. 4340.

 

  • The Dunkirk City School District is offering a innovative KinderCamp Program to help children prepare for the first day of school. KinderCamp will run Monday, August 5 and Tuesday, August 6 at School #3 Elementary in their Kindergarten classroom. Please click here for the registration form and more information.
