The Middle School has adopted a “teaming” structure in dealing with our students.  Each grade level is comprised of two “teams.”  Each “team” is made up of “core” teachers.

Students are placed into one of the two groups (Team A or Team B) at their grade level and these teachers take over responsibility of the “team.”  The idea is to have the students become familiar with four or five teachers with whom they should feel free to discuss problems and issues.  The teachers then have a small central group of students to interact with on a more personal basis.

The “team” teachers meet on a regular basis to discuss curriculum, projects, discipline, homework, etc.  At times, the “team” will meet with individual students and/or parents to discuss issues relevant to the student.  If you wish to meet with the “team”, please contact the Guidance Office (366-9300, Ext. 3386) to arrange a conference with the “team”.
