• ANNUAL BUDGET VOTE & ELECTION FOR A BOARD OF EDUCATON SEAT

     

              On May 1, 2020, Governor Cuomo issued Executive Order 202.26 impacting the Annual Budget Meeting and Election for school districts.  The annual meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.  Voting will take place by absentee ballot only (not in person).  Absentee ballots will be mailed to all qualified voters.

     

              Currently the Dunkirk City School District Board of Education is composed of seven members.  Each Board member is elected to serve a three-year term effective July 1, 2020.  This year, the terms of Board members Mr. David Damico, Mr. Kenneth Kozlowski and Ms. Betsy Ramos will expire on June 30, 2020.

     

              All candidates for the office of members of the Board shall be nominated by petition.  A candidate for election to the Board of Education must complete a nominating petition to confirm that he or she meets all applicable eligibility requirements.  The nominating petition is provided below.  If you have any questions please contact the District Clerk at tossman@dunkirkcsd.org or 716-366-9300, Ext/ 2013.
