Substitute Recruitment
The district accepts applications year-round for substitute teaching positions from candidates who are looking to join a high-quality school district. We offer a competitive daily rate, opportunity for pay increases with time worked in the district, access to professional development for NYS Teaching Certificate holders in need of CTLE hours and an opportunity for experience and growth!! Dunkirk CSD is continuously accepting applicants for the position of School Nurse Substitute.
- RN License and fingerprint clearance required. The District pays for the cost of RN Substitute fingerprinting.
- Compensation: $20.00/hour.

Certified Positions
The Dunkirk City School District utilizes the WNY School Application System (WNYRIC) for certified teaching and administrative positions and classified non-teaching positions. All applicants (permanent and substitute) must submit their application materials directly through the WNY School Application System site.
If you currently do not have an application on the WNY School Application System, you will need to complete one before applying for a probationary or long-term substitute position. If you have already completed your application on the WNY School Application System, please be sure you have included Dunkirk CSD among your selected schools so we can view your application.
