Good Evening Dunkirk Students, Families and Staff

Please be advised that beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, March 2nd, students and staff will no longer be required to wear masks in school or on school transportation. Again, beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, March 2nd, students and staff will no longer be required to wear masks in school or on school transportation.

Please note students and staff who wish to continue wearing a mask still have the option to do so, but it is no longer mandatory.  It is important to stress that there should be no negative response to those who choose to continue to wear a mask or those who choose to not wear a mask.  The District will continue to provide masks for those who choose to wear them.

Please continue to practice health and safety measures which remain in place including monitoring for COVID-related symptoms, staying home when ill, and frequent handwashing. Updated guidance regarding social distancing, contact tracing, testing, isolation & quarantine orders, and vaccination status is expected to be provided to school districts in the near future.

Please visit the district website and Facebook pages for the latest COVID-related news and updates.

Thank you and have a good evening.
