   Students at DHS have lots of choices when it comes to business education classes and activities.
   Classes for high school and college credit are being taught to help students prepare for their future careers. High school courses in computer applications, business education and employability portfolio development, job shadowing, and career & financial management are among the courses available for high school credit.
   College-level courses in accounting fundamentals, hospitality and tourism, personal finance, office procedures and management, introduction to business, and public speaking are also available for students who want to earn college credit while still in high school.
  New this school year is the Future Business Leaders of America Club (FBLA). FBLA is a nonprofit, nationally recognized educational association for students interested in learning more about business.
   FBLA helps students develop leadership skills through competitions at the local, regional, state, and national levels in business and technology curriculum. DHS is helping to prepare successful business leaders of the future.
