Students in JCC Ceramics and Ceramics I created several sculptures recently. From start to end, students worked for about two weeks to finish their pieces. Students had to select their topic and glaze type prior to the sculpture being fired in the kiln.

Mrs. Korzenski, art teacher, said that "it's not always how it looks, but what went into the piece." "Even if it isn't the best of quality, I still display pieces when students put forth a great deal of hard work.
