The photo gallery below shows just a sample of the many cards that were made by juniors in Mrs. D'Agostino's English classes to honor local veterans. Cards will be distributed to veterans on Sunday, Nov. 11 at Applebee's and on Monday, Nov. 12 at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk.

"Our students put their creativity to the test as they created meaningful cards dedicated to the soldiers who risked their lives to ensure our futures," said Michala Mick, junior. "Honor veterans through this small gesture could mean the world to them on Veterans' Day."
