Reconfiguration Proposal

Below is the Power Point shared with the Dunkirk Board of Education, Faculty and Staff in December of 2017


These items are a result of extensive research (in excess of 40+ documents reviewed) into school district reconfiguration and was shared with the Dunkirk Board of Education at the January 2018 workshop


At the January 11, 2018 workshop the Dunkirk Board of Education made the following decisions:

  • Examine the reconfiguration proposal
  • Examine reconfiguration through the fall of 2018, while exploring the possiblity of implementation for the 2019-2020 school year
  • Develop stakeholder task force groups
