Student Registration
Registration is by Appointment ONLY
Please call 716-366-9300 ext *4401 to discuss the registration process and pick up a registration packet (please see below for required documentation and downloads).
To better serve families and to streamline the entry of new students into our District, registration of new students will take place at the Central Registrar's Office located at:

Families new to the District should register their child(ren) as soon as possible to ease transitions and allow adequate time for educational services to be arranged (schedule, classroom placement and transportation - if they qualify).
Registration packets can be downloaded and completed prior to your registration appointment. After registering, the parent and student will be scheduled to visit the building where the student will attend in order to complete the enrollment process.
To expedite your registration experience, please print and complete our student registration forms prior to your appointment.

Immunization records

Physicals completed within the last year

Immunization Record and physical for each child

Custody documentation if applicable
Other helpful information:

Name, address, phone number and fax number of previous schools attended

Previous report cards, transcripts and progress reports

English as a New Language Records
Once enrollment is complete in the system, the Registration Supervisor will determine and assign your child’s school building. You will be notified via phone call or letter.
Incomplete registration packets or missing required documents submitted may delay the process of enrollment.
IF YOUR CHILD HAS AN INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATION PLAN (IEP) OR 504 PLAN
After registering your child in the Dunkirk City School District, records will be requested from the previous school. Once records have been received, the Director of Special Education will determine your child's placement based on review of the records.
